Just Busy

The last few days have been really busy ones. My boyfriend has the week off so we're trying to cram lots of fun into every day. The reality of my leaving for law school in pretty much exactly a year is starting to, well, become more real. We have lots of plans - voice over IP, phone to phone plans, webcams - but none of it is going to make being apart not suck.

Anyway, we've watched The Manchurian Candidate (both the original and the new one - we both agreed the original was far and away the superior of the two), and The Village. We've also watched lots of episodes of Six Feet Under and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. There's also been quite a bit of hanging out and doing nothing which is just a priceless way to spend a day, if you ask me.

Tomorrow we hit the museum of natural history, IMAX and the planetarium. We are of the "learning is fun" variety.

Also, a decision has been made: Even though we totally can't afford it we've decided life is just too short and we're going to sign up for the kung fu class we've been wanting to take for way too long. I'm so going to get my ass kicked!

Sounds like fun. Enjoy your time together. Even though my girlfriend and I will be living together during law school, we also made it a point to do a lot together before school came around - travelling, trying new things out, a cooking class (don't ask me how well - or not well - I did), etc. Some people may say that you have a year and that's a long time, but that year flew by quickly for me.
